Flapping Mouths
Four Zen monks were meditating in a monastery. All of a sudden the prayer flag on the roof started flapping. The younger monk came out of his meditation and said: "Flag is flapping" A more experienced monk said: "Wind is flapping" A third monk who had been there for more than 20 years said: "Mind is flapping." The fourth monk who was the eldest said, visibly annoyed: "Mouths are flapping!"

Are you sure its not a Ninja Master caterpillar?
Very cool. What part of the world is this?
Justin, I will have to ask him!
Yes, I am in Houston, Texas. The tree the chrysalis is on is a cassia. It blooms amazing yellow flowers in the fall and winter here, and every evening it closes its oval leaves.
Wow! that is really amazing.. thanks for sharing that.
That's awesome :-)
Today I witnessed a lovely male cardinal swoop into the cassia and spirit away this chrysalis for his lunch! I did manage to spy a second withered, frail, and newly evacuated chrysalis nearby that I had failed to notice before- Ah, missed! The other butterflies seem to be enjoying the garden's many spring blossoms and the fruit we are leaving out for them...
