Cleveland's Screaming Blog
Hi, sports fans. Just wanted to let you know I've started a blog about my movie "Cleveland's Screaming!" It's at
http://clevelandscreaming.blogspot.com/
Enjoy.
Also, I may start posting to the darn Hardcore Zen blog again. I'll let you know....

The link to watch the trailer for the documentary did not work for me. When I click it, the media player opens, but nothing happens. Anyone else try it?
Also, I may start posting to the darn Hardcore Zen blog again. I'll let you know.... I hope so.
(from the Cleveland's Screaming blog)
Documentaries about punk rock always focus on what was happening in London, New York or L.A. But me and my friends didn't live in "happening" places like that. Like thousands of other kids all over the country in those days, we made our own scene in our own town out of nothing.
Yeah, I think the major cities get too much attention, in fiction too. I always like it when somebody uses a real, specific place that isn't NYC or LA or some capital city. Saw David Cronenberg's A History of Violence a while ago. Terrible movie, but I thought it was neat that their evil mobster characters were based out of Philadelphia--just because, for no apparent reason.

I for one have missed the HZ blog, so I hope you can make it work.
aumeye: It worked for me. I think you need QuickTime to see it.
Grisom ~ Thanks. I returned to the link a few minutes ago, and for whatever reason, it worked this time.

That movie starred Viggo Mortenson, who used to be married to Exene Cervenka, lead singer for X, the greatest punk band to come out of "happening" L.A.
Sorry, I just find weird trivial coincidences interesting.
In case it matters, I'd love to read Brad's posts again!

HEE. That's wonderfully convoluted.
